Jan Schäferjohann

I enjoy working at the intersection of technology and people.

I find myself drawn to projects where different disciplines need to work together—where sales, development, and strategy all have to be on the same page. There's something satisfying about helping teams find common ground and build things that actually make sense.

Most of my time is spent figuring out how to translate between different ways of thinking, whether that's helping developers understand customer needs or showing business teams what's technically possible.

What I'm Interested In

Team Dynamics

How different personalities and skill sets can complement each other, and what happens when they don't.

Product Development

The messy process of turning ideas into things people actually want to use and pay for.

Innovation & Ideas

Exploring new approaches and being curious about what might be possible if we tried something different.

Currently

At kwsoft.com

Leading a team that builds software solutions for businesses. Spending a lot of time thinking about how to balance what's technically interesting with what's actually useful.

Writing

Occasionally putting thoughts down about leadership, technology, and the intersection of the two. You can find these in the blog section.

Learning

Always trying to understand how successful teams actually work, beyond the theory and frameworks. What makes some collaborations effortless while others feel like pushing a boulder uphill?

If you're working on something interesting or want to exchange ideas about team leadership, product development, or just have a good conversation, feel free to get in touch.
